I used to deliver Lunches & Coffees there from my parents restaurant!! (they would give me a dime for a tip).

My friends bought me t-shirt from the Sportswear store when I was travelling through Europe (quite a few years ago now!) The front of the shirt read "where in the Hell is Mount Dennis" I wore it proudly.

I think everyone got their first pair of levis there, lol, and of course..the famous green or red lumber jackets

There was a little post office at the back of the Sportswear Shop. Mr. Adams became postmaster there after he retired from Adams Mens Wear.

Mr Adams ran the post office in the Sportswear Shop after he sold his store. He was a lovely, gentleman with Old World European ways. He also had a number tattoo on his arm, having survived the Holocaust. A kinder man I have yet to meet. He and my Poppy were great pals.

At Eglinton and Weston road across from the Scotia Bank there used to be a little clothing store there that sold jeans and other stuff. There was a post office at the back. I bought my first pair of levis there, I think they were levis anyway and my first red lumber jacket and jean jacket.
