Just remembering back to when times were much simpler.......working at my Dad's store(Mount Dennis Meats)1174 Weston Rd (Beside Inch's Drugs)and delivering groceries on Saturday in our 1969 Ford Econoline Van.....Watching all the girls out the store window!!!!Shovelling the sidewalks of Weston Rd......

Does anyone remember Bruce Taylor's Meat Shop beside the bakery, near Inches Drug Store? He had the best cuts of meat anywhere. I think his Mom and Dad had the corner house on Eglinton across from Portages.

We always went to Mt. Dennis Meats right by Inch's drugs & the Bakeshop. I remember going there when I was quite young to get an order my mom had placed over the phone and I would be told to say "put it on the bill, please!"

The Meat Market was all family too. Seems since that generation of ownership, the stores went downhill from there.

Mount Dennis Meats Market had sawdust floor, I remember buying meat there when I lived on Lambton.
