On the other side of Locust there was a mens wear shop that this neat guy Mr.Adams operated, that was the name of his shop, Adams Mens Wear, he had a big sign hanging over the street from his building at the corner of Weston Road and Locust Street, once, in grade nine he sold my mom this laminated foam filled cross patterned grey and black raincoat for me to wear to St.Mikes.

Mr Adams ran the post office in the Sports wear Shop after he sold his store. He was a lovely, gentleman with Old World European ways. He also had a number tattoo on his arm, having survived the Holocaust. A kinder man I have yet to meet. He and my Poppy were great pals.
